Here we have a stunning cast and pierced tazza by the renowned makers, Martin Hall & Co. Made in Sheffield, but assayed in London, this piece is characteristic of the elegant Art Nouveau period and combines the delicate acanthus style piercing of the top and base with the strong and naturalistic curves of the three legs. The scrolling nature of the legs and the way they meet in the centre is an iconic Art Nouveau element within silver and shows the cutting edge design with which this was created.
