Coalport coffee cup and saucer with silver holder
Coalport and James Dixon & Sons. - 1906
Here we have a richly decorated Coalport porcelain coffee cup and saucer with an elaborate solid silver holder. The cup and saucer have a rich green ground surrounding white vignettes of hand painted pink roses. The ground is then finished with delicate branches of gilt leaves.
The pierced and chaste silver holder was made in Sheffield in 1906 by James Dixon and Sons, and features a rococo revival design.
Condition: Very good with only minor wear to the gilding on the cup.
