Doulton Burslem tea cup and saucer

This fluted cup and saucer has highly unusual Art Nouveau gilt decoration. The design comprises gilt honeysuckle swirling around the surface, the centres of which are accented by raised gilt dots. Fine porcelain from this period of Doulton's production is rare.
 
Condition: Excellent, one or two firing frit dots inside.
