Large Royal Worcester blush and green pedestal pot pourri

This large classically inspired pot pourri was made at Royal Worcester in several formats, sometimes with a tripod base and sometimes without. This large version dominates with its height and colouring, a mixture of blush, green and orange.
 
The moulding is crisp and clean with the pot pourri lid reflecting gothic tracery alongside the classical moulding of the base and legs. The bowl is moulded with a continuous frieze of scrolling decoration and the tripod base is cast with a grape and vine design.
