This superb plate is by my favourite factory, Minton. The classic turquoise ground paired with rich raised and acid gold gilding creates a luxurious design few other factories could match. Although made in the second half of the 20th century when Minton had been amalgamated with Royal Doulton, this plate shows they could still reign supreme when they put their minds to it.
