Superb dessert service by Minton with a pierced floret border edged in turquoise. This shape was undertaken in both a pierced and unpierced form and was a popular choice for fruit and flower painters.
The fruit painted in the centres, possibly by Wareham or Simpson, includes studies of apples, pears, peaches and plums.
