Pair of Art Deco style white gold,onyx and diamond earring

This stylish pair of earrings feature the great colours of the Art Deco period - silver, black and sparkle!
 
Each drop is 2cm long and is made of white gold and topped with a piece of black onyx. The onyx is then mounted by delicate foliate engraving at the top and bottom of the pendant. At the centre of the onyx is a small diamond, millgrain set into white gold and fixed right through to the back of the earring. Light is allowed through the setting to emphasize the diamond and maximise the sparkle.
The earrings are finished with a post and scroll fitting, the front of which is engraved like the pendant.
 
The earrings are not marked and it is not possible to ascertain their age.
