This charming pair of Royal Worcester egg cups with integral saucers are a thorwback to the 18th century. The Japanese fan pattern was intorducced at the Worcester factory in the 1770s and beacme a firm favourite with the elegent buyers of Georgian England.
Royal Worcester evisted the successful desing in the aesthetic period of the 1870s and 1880s as it fitted with the craze for Asian style at the time.
